Beyond ingredients. Every active botanical in these formulas carries centuries of tradition, chosen because they work.

Lavender

Lavender

icon
Origin

Originally native to the Mediterranean. Since the 1960s, lavender has also been successfully cultivated in Asia — most notably in Yili, Xinjiang, now one of the world's four major lavender-growing regions alongside Provence and Hokkaido.

icon
Heritage

Its place in our range reflects a universal association with calm and sleep in modern herbal practice, including the more recent Asian cultivation that's grown alongside global demand.

icon
Harvest

Flowering stems are cut in mid-to-late summer at peak bloom, then distilled for oil.

Marjoram

Marjoram

icon
Origin

Native to the Mediterranean and western Asia, particularly Cyprus and Turkey.

icon
Heritage

Used since antiquity in Mediterranean herbal medicine, associated with calm and rest.

icon
Harvest

Leaves and flowering tops are harvested and dried or distilled.

Ylang Ylang

Ylang Ylang

icon
Origin

Native to tropical Southeast Asia and the islands of the Pacific and Indian Oceans, including the Philippines and Indonesia. Madagascar and the Comoro Islands are today's leading commercial producers.

icon
Heritage

Long used across Southeast Asia and Pacific island cultures in ceremony for its rich floral scent, later adopted globally in perfumery from the 19th century onward.

icon
Harvest

Flowers are hand-picked, typically at dawn when fragrance is most concentrated, then steam-distilled.

Peppermint

Peppermint

icon
Origin

Peppermint itself is a European hybrid mint, but the broader mint family has deep roots in Asia — a related mint, Bo He, is a genuine, long-used Chinese herb valued for its cooling character.

icon
Heritage

Bo He appears frequently in classical Chinese herbal texts as a cooling herb.

icon
Harvest

Leaves are harvested at peak oil concentration, just before flowering, then distilled.
